Todd Heap
I know the Raiders need to work on their offensive line and fix somethings on defense. But if the Raiders do hire Al Saunders as the coach I think the Raides will go after Todd Heap. Al Saunders has always had a receiving Tight End in his system. I am not saying Courtney Anderson is bad or anything. But Todd Heap would work the middle of the field and help open up the running game for the Raiders. Since the Raiders dont have a fulltime Fullback I think the Raiders could run a two tight end and a two wide receiver set, with Lamont Jordan in the backfield. Signing Todd Heap would also take double coverage away from Moss and Porter too. What do you guys think?

He's not a free agent. He signed a 6 year contract extension sometime last summer.

Yea seriously, do you think we have enough money to spend on a pro-bowl TE if so then forget about all our other defensive needs because we wont have any cash left over. And yea he did sign a 6 year contract with the ravens early this season so forget about him.

Just curious, but why are NFL teams now phasing out the Fullback and running more two TE sets?

We might aswell try to go after gates. They wont let Heap go he is a vital part of the O. Courtney Anderson has the size and talent to be good also.

I think its probably to create mismatches. TE's are a lot more talented athletic wise these days and can do more than your average fullback can.
