I was reading all the posts and waiting for someone to say this! Good show! He will likely end up doing the same exact thing. Someone will give him a shot and he will probably wash out and be a part of his brother's entourage.

Um not really. When I think of a true bad boy Raider I think of guys who didn't get a shot on another team or were given up on then turned their career around with a huge chip on their shoulder in Oakland. Driving drunk and boozing up underage girls is not my idea of a Raider.

If I were to draft Vick, it would be around round 4 in my view. Yes his attitude is a downside, but I believe the worst that happens is a wasted 4th round pick. The best that could happen? We get a slower version of Mike Vick that can actually read a defense (if you watch Mike Vick compared to Marcus Vick in there junior years, it is easy to see that Mike used his athleticism more as Marcus Vick used reading defenses more).

Worth the risk? I would say go for it, but then again, I felt that his stepping on the leg of the Louisville guy was just a cheap shot (like a helmet to helmet hit, or late hit, etc).

The guy is a big ass-hole.

I don't know about true Oakland Raider. I think its more like true screw up. If he couldnt handle him self in college I dont know if he could take all of the pressure or being a professional athlete.

Is Marcus Vick a true Raider because of his overinflated sense of entitlement or the fact the he is a highly skilled football player? When I think of true Raider I think of guys like Jim Plunkett, Tooz and Rich Gannon who were talanted and just needed an oppurtunity to shine. I dont see that in Marcus. I believe in second chances but he hasnt even prooved that he can play on this level. I think the CFL or the Arena league would be more his speed. Unless he can return punts
