Somebody already answered on Riveria, I'm also high on Mike Singletary (as is numerous coaches, former coaches, players). Here is why ...
He is the assist. HC/LB coach in SF - http://www.sf49ers.com/team/CoachesBio.asp?CoachID=74

Singletary teamed with 49ers head coach Mike Nolan the previous two seasons as the Baltimore Ravens inside linebackers coach. Players have flourished under his tutelage, including Ray Lewis, who earned 2003 NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors. Under Singletary, the inside linebackers have finished first and second in tackles in each of his seasons coaching the position. He was also part of a coaching staff that directed the Ravens defense to a third overall finish in 2003 and sixth overall in 2004.

On the field, Singletary practices tough love. He puts his linebackers through a series of drills that border on the cruel and unusual.
In one drill, his linebackers crouch low under a 4-foot high awning and shuffle side-to-side, over and over again while Singletary screams a mixture of kudos and criticisms.

"The one thing that I tell my players is I want everything you've got," Singletary said. "I'm demanding that every day. But at the same time, they know I'm demanding that from myself.
"I don't ever want to come out here unprepared. I don't ever want to come out here and cheat them. So I'm just telling them not to cheat themselves."

Hartwell remembers that Singletary essentially told the players to forget what they had learned because he was taking them back to the fundamentals.
"Every linebacker on that team had some bad habits to get rid of, and that's what he did, improved all our shuffling and our reads and made us all better, every last one of us -- even Ray," Hartwell said by telephone from Atlanta, where he now plays for the Falcons.

"But when Singletary tells you to do something, asks you to do a certain technique, what are you going to say? I mean, he did it, he's been there, he's done that, so he holds a ton of respect."
