Porter Done as a Raider??

The so called Raider fans that posted and commented on the "Jerry Porter out" subject, are a bunch of ass clowns. This really pissed me off, and is the reason why i became a member on this site.
First of all, i want to start off with the fact that Jerry Porter is an Unbelievable WR. The catches he makes some times are unreal. What WR do you see constantly going across the middle of the field knowing he is gonna get his head knocked off,?? we saw it last year and we saw it this year, he was absolutely mauled, and still he gets right back up and heads to the huddle, unlike "Mr. Moss". Also what WR in the NFL, after catching the ball, do you see trying to rip the tacklers head off, he is always looking for extra yardage and it usually involves trucking the opposition.
Now for all of you Randy Moss lovers. The fact that he hasnt even proven himself as a true raider should make you die hard raider fans be skeptical about his existence as a raider. you guys praise him like he is a god, granted he is one of the best in the game, doesnt mean anything, he hasnt proven himself case closed. everytime he gets the ball and has a defender in front of him he goes str8 for the sidelines like a bitch. When the ball doesnt come his way he never runs his routes completely eleveating the field to open up for everybody else, half the time he doesnt even look like he is interested. Granted he is injured, but if your getting paid as much as he is, your ass should be going all out every play.
I cant believe you guys would want Jerry Porter out of Silver and Black, he has done so much for this team through thick and thin. Although i hate comparing players to a former gr8, Jerry should be, and hopefully will be the next Tim Brown.
As far as every other WR on our team, there remains questions. Keeping Curry and Gabriel is a given, as far as Whitted, Francis, Williams, and Morant, thats another story. They should be listed under the "trade bait" category. I love what little ive seen and heard from Morant, i dont think he should go, he is young and loaded with ability and potential.
Gabriel has shown alot of promise, especially last night on Xmas eve, which should make u want him to stay. Curry..... well if you guys havent noticed or are just plain ignorant, the kid is sick. If you were a "Die Hard Raider" you would know that he was drafted out of Univ. of North Carolina as a QB. what player have u seen, that has switched positions, do the things he has done besides Antwaan Randle El, NOBODY. Ronald Curry is hands down raw talent, he is still very young and learning the ropes of the NFL, give the kid time and he will be Top Notch. Thanks for listening to my blabber.

First, welcome to the site. Second, opinions are like bungholes, we all have them, and some of them stink. But to call fellow fans an ass clowns because they have a different opinion is uncalled for.

Jerry is a good receiver no doubt. But for the money he makes, be it a worthless game or not, he should be making those catches. Unbelievalbe recievers do. Trade porter, no, that is a bad move both from a talent perspective and the cap hit we would take. Put a boot up his backside, hell yeah. Don't be a Porter apoligist, he needs to catch those balls. He has missed to many catchable balls this year. Again, an unbelievable receiver just doesn't do that...

Very good points, and i was deff wrong to call our nation ass clowns, but i was heated lol. Anywho, Jerry Porter is human he is going to drop the ball and yes unbelieveable players do drop balls. Granted he is no Jerry Rice, but i mean given what the raiders have gone through this year and their DISCIPLINE which is non existant, you have to wonder what it is like coming to the field everyday being under the helm of Norv Turner. From my experience, Its hard being an athlete and being on a team that is manned by a complete joke of a coach which norv completely is, it just isnt fun and is extremely aggrivating. What Porter has done for us highly overweighs dropped balls here and there, do you really think it would have made that big of a difference on our season, not at all.
