Coach Jimmy Johnson

Yes,Jimmy Johnson can be back on the sidelines if the right deal comes along .The deal is GM/COACH with full control. It will take alot of coin but it can be done. Al wants to win now he is not getting any younger, so pay the coin and lets get back to the super bowl now!!!!

That may be so BUt just a short few weeks ago Houston offered him that entire package & he turned it down. How would oakland be a better suited place for JJ to HC then Houston?

Anything would be an upgrade at this point. You know Al will put another puppet in there so he can run everything.

Only draw back is he doesn't own a sailboat. It's a yacht.2ndly, I'd love to have him here in Oakland but when was the last time you heard of Al giving up GM abilities? If this was the case, gruden would probably still be here & we would have another Lombardi to showcase.

I think Papa AL has learned the hard way. That's why we have erasers on pencils we all make mistakes. Now it's time to make it right in "06"

As I said, I'd be jacked IF that was to happen. And I do agree, all of us make mistakes.we'll see in due time if Al finally makes rights of his wrongs.

I don't remember JJ doing that great of a job when he had the "Whole Package" in Miami.....are you sure he is worth all the coin it would take??? Not many have done very good when they have had the whole package...I think you have to have a GM and a coach and not one in the same...it dont work!

Jimmy Johnson can't repeat his past glory, he won't have the staff nor the draft picks to do it.
They asked him on Fox today what he would do with the #1 pick and Im thinking hes going to say trade down and he did... No thanks.

Agreed. Those were my thoughts as well. Without the bufoonery that brought the kings ransom from Minnesota, Johnson had a hard time getting lightning to strike twice. I do agree that Norv isn't the answer at HC.

I like Lombardi and think he just needs more time. He had ALOT of holes to fill and yes, we have been rebuilding. The QUALITY youth on this team has gotten alot of experience. You will see the lines both addressed in this coming draft and free agency. Hopefully some help at Safety, linebacker, and Tight end as well as getting better (and younger) on the lines.
