You all know my views on signing a solid de, trading our 1st pick to a team near 20-25. Draft Orien Harris with our 1st pick. With the trade we get a couple more draft picks. Trade a couple of those to washington for arrington. I'd do it in a heartbeat. However,,,,,,,, He ahs clearly stated that he may be done w/ football (even tho he's like 28). He said there's no proof that I will be playing football if I'm not in washington.
I don't want someone like that cough cough ricky williams. |

I read an article on espn yesterday regarding Gibbs anger with Arrington because as they approach thgis weeks game to decide their playoff fate, he's talking with the media about his future. But what was interesting about the article was that no one had anything positive to say about Arrington. One example, Marvin Lewis said he runs around like a chicken with his head cut off!! I don't think he has that much value. Certainly nothing more than maybe a 4th rounder.

I read in the washington times report stating he might even consider retirement if he is cut by the Redskins. Wow. He did say something about playing for his favorite coach Shottenheimer (sp) and alongside Merriman. He say sign him only if the Redskins cut him and he WANTS to be here. Trading for him would be too risky.

I had posted the aticle in another posting where he mentioned retiring if he isnt a Redskin. I'd take him if he can committ to this team, and want to be here in the long run. But I would look into the health situation first.

I would do it if he wants to be a Raider, and let's face it who doesn't

I'd give up a 2nd of 3rd round pick for Arrington....when he's on his game....he's a beast.

This is going to be an interesting offseason. He retires and Al uses his powers of persuasion and Arrington comes back to football for the RAIDERS. lol
