Yeah i remember before we got Burgess we tried to get Abraham and or Howard I think Al Davis really likes Abraham thats why Abraham went off on Tui because he know Al is watching

Also **** Bring in Herm Edwards along with him also bring Curtis Martin along to back up LJ that would be sick!!!!

John Abraham deserves ALOT of credit folks...
1. He junked training camp held out...and EVERYONE in the NY Media killed him, even the Jets condemned him, and many thought he would really tank it this year after the warfare over the off-season for the contract and him holding out!!! He has been a solid player....which leads to #2

2. He has become a SOLID overall talent at DE. Everyone knew he was a solid edge rusher...but this year, he has turned into a solid edge defender as well and has been a very good overall DE this year...ask any Jet fan or Herm Edwards!

3. He is healthy!!! The knock in him, he doesnt play hurt, he gets hurt everytime....well, the guy has been healthy and has shown a tendency to stay on the field finally an entire season!

4. He changed his off the field life...no troubles, stopped hanging out late and with some folks that people thought influenced him the wrong way!!!

Abraham took a stand this year....and came out a winner!!!

He wants a contract, the Jets cannot afford to give him a back breaking deal, not with money tied in with QB (pennington) and cap issues they are going to face!!!

I rather have Darren Howard
Abraham takes plays off, is not as good against the run as Howard is either and wants more money then Howard.. hes got issues too.
Howard is just as good of a pass rusher then Abraham, and is a better Run Defender.

Howard or Abraham, doesn't matter to me. Pick up either one and we'll be in a better place than we are right now, that's for sure.
