maybe time for a change?
I am starting this in rumor mill, cause it is my rumor, but I have heard alot of members say things like this, however they reason they got diss was because of the way they presetned it...
AL DAvis is Raiders... Al Davis is FOOTBALL! Al Davis needs to take a step back, and be involved, just not in charge! EOM! We love you Al, but these are not good choices in the making of late!

I agree..
I think it's time for Mr Davis to step down.. Hire a GM and a coach and let them control the team.

I disagree to a degree
I dont think the change has to be Al stepping down as the man in charge I think the change has to do with Al Davis as an owner, hes gotta change his ways! all it takes is one monster coaching change to really resurrect our team and Al Davis... Jimmy Johnson anyone? the guy that most feel Al will never get cuz it doesnt fit Al's style, the guy that can TURN this team around and bring back the mystique to the blackhole.. thats all it will take for Al to resurrect his career.

Agreed! We need a coach who is a leader, not a puppet......a coach with a winning track record........Someone who has the respect of his players and can motivate them...like Tony Dungy, I heard Freney on Rome yesterday and there is no question who makes the calls on that team, and the players love him and respect him......AL please get a new coach and then let him coach>......

Al should get a good coach and let Lombardi be in charge of personal. Our drafts have been much better since he has supposedly had more input

I totally respect AL Davis...
He is Raiders Football, and in some degree, he is FOOTBALL!!! I never said this before, but hell I have been watching the Raiders for 30 years... I have noticed that my dad (68) has been alot less capible of doing certain things... He used to be a rooffer, but now hw can't hardly climb a roof. It is sad, but I would rather see him stay on the ground and be here for a while, then try to do something he can't and make the issue worse..(Like falling) well Al needs tomake some choices soon... but on the other hand, maybe he already did, he stepped down without any one really knowing, and thats what we see now.. Our new management?

jimmy johnson? that would be awesome! a guy who's not afraid to stick his boot in a player's ass,a guy who can motivate,a guy who cares! is it true that johnson once said he'd love to coach the raiders? how about them raiders!! not gonna happen though,not with al..

Jimmy Johnson reccomended Norv.. he said Al call norv...
so obviously Al called Jimmy.. Jimmy said... Nah, but say... call Norv he can do it!
