Im sure he would do better with moss again but I really dont see it happening.
This will be my first thread and this thought is kind of interesting. I know I might take a lot of crap for this, but.... would anyone welcome Dante Culpepper into the Silver & Black if the Vikes dump him? He was a top 3 QB with Randy. Once our running game develops which took a big leap today with Jordans 3 TDs and Doug Gabriel finally emerges, we will have one of the most dangerous, if not the most dangerous offense in the NFL. Now, we all know Kerry Collins has the big arm. But so does Culpepper. Also, Culpepper can scramble and buy time, unlike Collins. Which would make us all the more dangerous. I think Dante would be a great fit for us, because while our line gels, Dante can buy them time. Something to ponder for the nation. I think Dante would be a great idea.
Im sure he would do better with moss again but I really dont see it happening.
Welcome -
I started a thread like this a while back. Good thought.
Personally, I would love to have Daunte. He's an awesome QB and I hate seeing people get down on him. Yes he lost Moss. Yes his line is bad. Yes he has no WRs to throw to. But he's still Daunte. He's still dangerous. Give him a target(s) and he's a monster. If he ever leaves the Vikes, I would to see Al pick him up. Moss and Culpepper back again? Amazing!
There is no way the vikes would ever let him go. Totally unrealistic.
i remember alot of that being said in regards to mossOriginally Posted by 3 Mile Lyle
there was some talk before the deadline..
I would love to see Caulpepper in Silver and Blac, but can we even afford him? I think he is getting some big bucks with Minnesota, but that would be fantastic. Caulpepper needs Moss and the team would benefit greatly if we get him. Now we would have a mobile QB!
i don't see it happening, but if it will get us to the SuperBowl, i am all for it.
actually there is already rumors of him being dumped at the end of the year and arizona may be interested in him because denis green is his ex coach....as for the question, yes, he's mobile...him and moss know eachother well....i would..but as for now i still am supporting collinsOriginally Posted by 3 Mile Lyle
Yeah you can sure say that again and I don't see why they would ever let him go and what are the chances that the raiders could get him. what could we offer to the vikes anyway?Originally Posted by 3 Mile Lyle
probably could get him pretty cheap, they are talking about cleaning house..they'll be 30 mill undert he cap next year..Originally Posted by socalraider420
well anything is possible in the nfl and I would rather have him than kerry thats for sure. ::Culpepper to Moss touchdown Raiders!!!::Originally Posted by nsraiderfan
I don't think that there's any way that the Vikes will let him go, he is still the cornerstone of their franchise, if they get rid of him they will be getting rid of the face of their franchise. Not gonna happen, he's young and has potential. If we want to target a QB this offseason we need to be looking at David Carr who may be a FA or at the very least the Texans should be willing to listen to offers, at the rate they are going right now they'll have the #1 pick and will probably be taking a good long look a Matt Leinart.
Personally I think that Carr would be a great fit for our system.
True bro but if they did we should sign him in a second.Originally Posted by 3 Mile Lyle

Like it has been previously said, there is talk of him getting dumped by the Vikes, or getting traded. I know it is sort of unrealistic, but we have cap geniuses in our front office, Al Davis always continues to do the impossible. I mean cmon, Williamson and Napoleon Harris for Randy Moss? INSANE. If Al wants it done, he will get it done. And you know he loves big arm QBs. Just a thought.
