How About Jason Gildon?
If we cant afford anyone else (Kevin Hardy, etc.) why not Jason Gildon as an OLB addition. Hes a veteran that can show the rookies and younger players the ropes thats a big plus and hes a talented pass-rusher who will come at a veteran minimum for sure (rich gannons when he retires) hes 32 years old, doesnt have much in him but neither did Romo when we got him, he gets crazy sacks still, last year he had 3 in 9 games no tellin what he would of had in 16. His numbers have taken a 3 sack downfall in the last 4 years which is a little odd but I think hes got until hes 35-37 until hes done maybe we should give him a look. What you guys think?

yeah after he got cut by the bills last year i think he gave up. correct me if im wrong but he didnt play for no one last season did he?

And If im not mistaken he was trying to go back to the steelers but that didnt work out
My belief is we do need a veteran in every spot on defense though, he would of been the right guy for the job but oh well. Kevin Hardy is still my favorite right now then. We got our veterans on d-line in sapp and washington, we got woodson at Cb, we dont have a veteran at safety and foreman is the closest thing to a veteran at LB he should do fine.

gildon is cheaper and knows the 3-4 and 4-3 schemes,plus he can play d-end too,i like boulware but ill take a seasoned veteran for a low price than a oft injured superstar its enough with sam williams and travian smith.

Gildon has been available as a FA quite a lot in the last couple of season but the Raiders have not shown any interest. I thought they may have gone after him when he first became available, so there must be a reason as to why (it's not money) they are leaving him alone.
