ESPN's John Clayton reports Carolina Panthers P Todd Sauerbrun is scheduled to fly to Denver on Sunday to meet with Broncos HC Mike Shanahan on Monday morning. The meeting could lead to a trade in which the Panthers receive a low second-day draft choice. Shanahan is pushing for Sauerbrun because of his strong leg and how effective he could be in the thin air in Denver, which is a mile above sea level. Several teams are looking at him if he's cut in June, but the Broncos scenario seems to be the most likely.
