This is my first and last Woodson thread. Just giving you guys an update on what is in ESPN Insider's Rumor mill.


May. 6 - With takers for Woodson's $10.5 million tender still scarce -- reports indicate no one is willing to give up more than a future fifth- or sixth-round draft pick -- the veteran cornerback participated in last week's minicamp as a starting cornerback. However, the Marin Independent Journal reports Woodson had an animated discussion with defensive coordinator Rob Ryan while coming off the practice field and speculates it involved the possibility the team wants Woodson to move to safety.

I read this earlier. I don't post much on the Woodson threads anymore, but it looks pretty damn good that he'll remain a Raider this year. Next year? Who knows. But I would almost guarantee you, that you will see Woodson starting at CB for the Raiders this year.

did you guys forget that WE did franchise him for a reason we expected him to sign if we didn't we would have been in more trouble then we are in now.
so the fact that he is was in mini camp we should all be happy. last year he wasn't there and everyone was pissed off now he is there and everyone is still pissed off we but the money down and he took it it is no big deal.

Cwood should try out safety, he could be one of the best. Remember when Ronnie Lott changed from CB to S, he became a feared D player once again. I don't think anybody has respect for Cwood at CB anymore, they just double move against him and there you go pass interference.

The biggest reason we tagged him is to see if we could pull of a trade, and our D wouldn't be in bad shape. Look at last years D, this year couldn't get worse if he wasn't here. He is at camp is because if he misses it he will lose his money. C-Wood is a me player end of story
