Why would Baltimore need C Wood they already have the best defensive backfields in the NFL. Mc Allister and Rolle with Ed Reed at safety. Since we are 167,000 under the cap signing him will be difficult..

That makes no real fiscal sense. If the Ravens are cost conciensious, then why trade a LB who will eat up $6 mil of your cap for a CB that will hit you for $10.5 mil? Plus, the Ravens are already set at CB.

I saw this earlier too, P Boulware is an awesome player and would bring an instant pass rush to our team. Maybe a restructure of Cwood would allow a signing.... hey cant a man dream. If we cant get Boulware then Simmons would be tight also.

Is it possible for 1 player to be cut, rumored to be available, or mentioned as trade bait that is not brought up on this site by someone as a possibility for a C-Wood trade, no one wants C-wood, we sure as hell aren't going to get a player like Bouleware for him.

Give them a 3rd round pick for next year. Add him to the team and I bet you, with Morrison and him in there the IQ of our LB core will go up dramatically. Then Chuck and the rest of our Db's will have a great season.

CWood is and will be an Oakland Raider in 2005. Nobody wants to give up compensation for him and pay him what he wants, and we don't want to dump him for nothing, even if we could, which we can't.
