if he can still play why not? just dont get him and hope for him to be our savior, we've done that with older players last year, and well it didnt quite pan out, ie sapp, buchanan. if we bring him in, i'd still like for us to get a LB, and have the two battle it out in camp. also isnt he more of a OLB in the 3-4? if so, we may be able to pick him up for cheap and when we do use the 3-4 put him at OLB, but that just depends if he can still play and if we can get him for cheap.
but IMO, i say we pass no him, we are having somewhat of a youth movment on D and im all for the young guys stepping up and i think our young guys can step up. |

I would sign him to a 1-year deal with a team option for a 2nd year. He's been hurt 19 of the last 32 games. That's almost 60% of the games. You can't commit financially too much on a guy like Brown, but his pass rush ability would be worth a chance on him, IMO.

If we signed him, Brown would immediately become the best pass rusher on our team.
For that reason alone we should be interested.

He's a Colorado native and has stated the Donks as the team he'd most wanna hook up with if released... = No thanks! I'd rather him have to bare the pain in the donks locker after we skool them at their place; than have him play half ass against his childhood team...
