ESPN Rumor Central says Raiders are interested in:
Apr. 21 - The Raiders trade to No. 26 with the Redskins is a clear sign the Raiders are targeting cornerback Justin Miller. After trading Phillip Buchanan, the Raiders need a corner and a returner. Miller answers both questions. The problem could be if Miller goes earlier than No. 26. It's possible. The Jaguars are also looking at a cornerback. Fabian Washington might end up going No. 21, but Miller will also be considered.

I think the whole reason we sigend Hill was to replace Buchanon... Except on special teams.

well dont know how reliable that info is since we traded with the Jets and not the Redskins, if he cant keep his facts straight im not to sure he knows whats really going on.

We don't need a damn corner, especially in the 1st round. If we spend another first round pick on a corner I am going to go crazy.
If we need a corner we can sign Dyson or Law or trade a 3rd for Surtain. There are several options in the free agent market. The same can't be said for pass rushers.

no more 1st round CB's! There's a very good chance we'll be drafting Walter with the #38 pick (AL LOVES HIM) and therefore that #26 pick has to address our biggest need=LB...Crowder/Burnett/Ware/Thurman/Ruud/Blackstock eetc.

Did you guys forget about Carlos Francis, the fastest 40 time at the combine last year, well he plays for us still and I expect him to to be our special teamer come season time, he will be our returner on special teams, ..YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST......

Miami wants a 2nd for Surtain, and after the Showtime deal, prolly a 3rd too. In ESPN's mock they have us taking Washington.
I really hope we can somehow get in the top 10 and get Derrick Johnson. Also thay say that Cowboys and Raiders are interested in Clarett. My dream draft would have us taking: Derrick Johnson in the 1st Patterson or Thurman in the 2nd Clarett in the 6th.

A Lb In Firts Please, Qb Andrew Walter In Third But Not In Two, I Look More Than 20 Draft Site Since One Month , And Every Expert Put Walter On There Value Board Only In 3 Or 4th Round, Don't Loose A Second Pick With A Qb, Look Brady Was Pick In Round 6, We Can Have Walter In Third Or Mcpherson In Fourth.but The Second Round Must Be A Defensive Player

My guess is that we got into the first to package it with Woodson to get high in the draft. Maybe the team that we are trying to trade Wood to wanted a first rounder from us and so we found a way to get one. Now we can trade Wood, a first for a higher first (hopefully to get LJ or someone to that effect) and maybe get a 3rd or 4th as well. Just my guess. Alot of wheeling and dealing going on!

i dont think we will draft another cb in the high rounds if we keep woodson.
we have wood, nnamdi as our starts, hill in the nickel walker in the dime, so i dont think we need to use a high pick on corner, if we use high picks on LBs and DL, we'll create pressure and make our current cb's a lot better. but if we draft another cb, it will just push b ack nnamdi, and make the hill signing a head scratcher, because either nnamdi or hill wont be playing, or they will and our rookie wont, so honestly i just dont think we will draft a cb. it will be interesting, if we do draft a cb that may mean that wood may be on his way out, which i hope is not the case.

We aren't picking Walter in the 2nd he isn't even projected to go that high. I'd rather take a gamble on McPherson later. Think D early and draft Clarett, and McPherson late.

I am now leaning towards Shaun Cody...get some QB pressure and Hill and Scrabble can man the CB spots...grab a CB in the 3rd there is plenty of value there. Dont draft Washington we just traded PBrain why get a clone back? If we get a CB we need one with size and a run supporter
