With The 26th Pick, The Raiders Select...
WHO??????

Anyone have any idea who the Raiders might be looking at with our new 1st round pick?

I'm thinking jason campbell from Auburn, but it could be anyone...you never know with Al....I cant wait for the draft!

I think Channing Crowder can be had with our #38 pick

I would like maybe a Shaun Cody at #26

I would also like a combo of Chaining and Kevin Burnett to sure up our defense

Once again, Andrew Walter is atleast the 3rd best QB in this draft. Prior to his injury he was a 1st round pick. If we get a QB it needs to be Walter in the 3rd.

With that in mind our 1st round should be Crowder, Ruud, Burnett, Roth or Cody. And that is only if somebody like Merriman or Pollack doesnt fall.

I am betting that the Raiders are looking at a number of players with the 26th pick. You dont move up to the 26th pick this early with your eye one just one or two players. You either are positioning for more trades or you have a list of possible candidates you are looking at that late in the first.

Blackstock has been showing up as a late second early third round pick as of late, he is only good as a pass rusher.

Even though I like Jason Campbell, he is more accustomed to the west coast offense. I don't see us selecting him with our 26th pick. Depending on where we end up with the C-Wood situation, I just hope we take a quality defensive player that will fill one of our holes.

Matt Roth out of Iowa would make a GREAT Raider, and the word is that the Colts want him at 29. To the Raiders at 26 sounds better. He played DE for the most part in college, but, he lower his 40 time from 4.8 to around a 4.65 since the combine. He would make a heck of a LB.

This guy plays so rough that he was some times held out of practice at Iowa so that he wouldn't injur his teamates!!

Also, Norv coached him at the Senior Bowl and seemed to be really impressed.
