Hartwell on the Falcons?
Got this from Kffl.com.

Geoff Hobson, of Bengals.com, reports the Atlanta Falcons are believed to be the frontrunners to acquire free agent LB Ed Hartwell (Ravens), according to Hartwell's agent Harold Lewis. Another undisclosed suitor is also believed to be pursuing Hartwell.

So undisclosed huh? That means its not the Seahawks, or any of the other teams weve heard are going for him. Could it be the Raiders? Ohh please let it be so!

I'll never understand why Atlanta has historically been a hotbed for free agents. They've almost always sucked and yet guys are always interested in playing there. Is it the city or what? I don't get it.

Last year I can see, but since free agency began a ton of players have mentioned they were interested in playing there. I'm not one of these guys who thinks every player wants to wear Silver and Black, but it just seems odd that so many have wanted to go there.

Updating ongoing reports, the Seattle Times reports free agent LB Ed Hartwell (Ravens) will likely decide on which team he will join Friday, March 18. He is expected to choose between the Kansas City Chiefs, Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks. His agent, Harold Lewis, reportedly was in negotiations with more than one team.
