Brian Westbrook a OAKLAND RAIDER???? : ) - Oakland Raiders Forum | Message Board

Since brian westbrook is in the free agent how come they're has been no talk about having him as an oakland raider he is a better running back than Zereoue toss zereoue out and bring brian westbrook he is a threat on the ground game and air game I hope we recruit this guy because if this happen raiders could be a threat next year with Porter back,Coles,Francis,and WESTBROOK think about it . When we want the quick yards on ground give it to west brook when kerry want to dish out a quick five yard pass give it too west brook and when kerry wants to throw deep throw it to porter it makes sense. I know you all going to probly boo me for thinking westbrook would be an upgrade to the raiders but I dont care because I think he would be the perfect addition to the raiders offense

hes a charlie garner type...but one, hes most likely gonna re-sign with the eagles....two..he doesnt exactly fit our offense great..i would take him though, but philly isnt gonan let him go

I'd Rather have Lamont Jordan...Jordan is more of a smashmouth RB, and he can still catch as good as westbrook...Jordan is by no doubt a better, more solid pickup

no I said amos is an ok BACK UP , I would rather see westbrook an oakland raider then amos anyday he is a way better RB you could see that in the game play and stat's prove it as well

The only problem with Westbrook is....can he carry the load???....and why would he leave the eagles???? HE is a star there...and they just played in the Super Bowl.....and he probably figures they'll be back!!!!! So why leave???? THERE IS NO REASON for him to leave the Eagles....and they don't want him to leave.....You might as well as say....Porter is Officially gone....

No way in hell are the Eagles are going to let Westbrook go. He's half their offense.

Brian Westbrook would be an amazing addition to the Raiders....Three years ago.
He's dink and dunk.

Seriously though, he's a great back and we would be a better team with him...but I'd prefer a back that can run 4.5 yards up the middle 30 times a game.

That being said...if we can't get another back, sign him!

He could be a fallback guy, in case we can't sign Jordan, but we need a physical back who can run it up the middle and carry it 20-30 times a game. I am tired of "decent" running backs, we need a big time player toting the rock in our offense.
