Are the Raiders moving back to LA? I know LA is crying for another shot at an NFL team and since you have trouble selling out, are you gonna move back home?

NFL wont let raiders move back to LA.. they are home anyways.. the chargers on the other hand.. are in the drivers seat to LA..

I always think the Raiders belong in LA b/c they were forced out of LA. But thats another story. Oakland is a great place for the Raiders. I would love to see them back in LA but they are building a strong fan base in Oakland, if they can get a new or improved stadium they should stay in Oak-Town and build on what we got going out there. Plus the NFL wont let them go to LA but hell they wouldn't let them go to LA when they went to LA lol.

Why? b/c they played there from the 60s until 82? and they are there now. Why shouldn't they be in LA?

The NFL and the city officials of Los Angeles do not want the Raiders back in L.A.

I know that who doesn't? The NFL forced them to move back to Oakland and the city officials don't want Al back, but the city of Oakland isn't to kind to Al Davis and the Raiders either.

Al was the one who picked up and left. Hopefully, by 2006 OFMA will be non-existent and PSL's will be abolished and the ticket prices will competitive amongst other NFL teams.

In the interview after the Pats game in 02 on ESPN. Al said if it were up to him the Raiders would still be in LA, he had plans for a privately funded stadium but the city and NFL would not let it go through. Oakland promised the world to get the Raiders back so he went back to Oakland. The move made sense at the time b/c the L.A. Coliseum couldn't sell out b/c it held about 90,000 people. And Oakland promised sell outs. Scarey thing is I read somewhere that had Al known things would be going this bad with Oakland he would have moved the team to Hartford Connecticut now that would be a shame.
