It's just that it's friggen hillarious! Perhaps what we are seeing is the same thing he bitched about in Dallas; wanting to be the starter over Emmit Smith. Another player who feels he's "entitled" to be
THE guy on the team.
Is a new precedent being made in Raidersville? First Tim Brown, whom thought
he should be the #2 or #3 WR at his age, was demoted to #4 or #5 and he decided to leave because of his bruised ego. Next, Hambrick
thinks he should be the starter and when reality slaps him in the face, he decides to shove his own boot up his ass and bails because he can't EARN a spot. Teyo Johnson being demoted to #4 TE after his stupid ass behavior after the 49ers game and fighting a fellow player because he was "frustrated" with the coaching staff? Then most recently we have Sir Charles Woodson; hold-out extraordinaire! Not only does he hold out for all of mini camp and the vast majority of training camp, he effectively is held out of the final pre-season game. (Thanks to the Postons) The Prima Dona shut-down corner perhaps thinks he can just come in and
GET his starting position back without having to fight for it. However, Norv has something else in mind. How about NOT allowing him to start or even play in the last pre-season game and NOT being able to start in the regular season opener. In fact, Sir Charles has been reduced to a Nickel Back for the Steelers game! I'm still a Charles Woodson supporter, but at the same time I respect and appreciate the decision to have him coming off the bench.
