Coming back off injury also I think. Due 1.05 Million this season. Very good deal if he is healthy.

Just saw the tweet from Vittorio Tafur. What's Jenkins' twitter handle?
^^ in my OP
Could be a great pickup, this is a guy who was a pro-bowler in 2009 and is only 27 years old. His 1 million base salary works with our cap situation and CB is a position of dire need for us. Even if he's only used as a nickle cornerl, he's better than what we've got, but he will challenge for a starting spot and won't be surprised if he beats out Spencer. I'm interested to see what it cost us. Anything lower than a 5th and it's excellent value for a 2008 first round pick with experience and great speed.
When you're on welfare, you've got to buy the food on sale, and that's what we're doing.

Oh my bad. Thanks
Well looks like he announced it before the Raiders or NFL.com did.
I agreed with everything, but I couldn't let this one go. Many people on welfare eat better then those with jobs and making some fine money. Many get $800 per month for food, which is a greater budget them most households not on welfare. I just ate two hot dogs with a can of pea's, I kid you not, about a $2.25 dinner.
We do have one trait going, RM is rolling the dice on players coming of off injury. Those that have proven something and have to regain their game. Some good and bad in that, it's a bit risky, but hand-tied due to cap.
Can't complain, interested to see what the compensation is though.
I am curious, however: Bartell and Spencer are being talked up after OTA's today yet we go out and make a move for another CB (trade for no less, something Mr. McKenzie has stated he's not too fond of doing). I know we need depth but maybe they're looking to bump one of the two aforementioned "starters" out of their position? Competition is never a bad thing and like I said, I do like the move.
Hope he can start and teach van dyke and Checkwa a thing or two.
I wouldn't be surprised if we gave up Murphy for Jenkins.
