Raider Rumour

SUP RAIDERNATION...

Has anyone else heard that the Browns are talkin to the Raiders about one of our OG's? I know for a fact the Browns are searching waivers and FA for any OG talent but have found nothing and therefore are looking for a possible trade...

Give them Mo Collins for a 3rd+5th rounder in 05...

Dude, we probably could spare an OG. We have four starters for two positions. I could do without Frank Middleton. I say keep Badger and Collins to compete for the right OG position. I see it like this - from left to right - Gallery, Stone, Grove, Badger, Walker. Backed up by Simms, Hulsey, Treu, Collins, Slaughter. Seems pretty solid to me.

He's got the tools but he hasn't got the mental strength i'd like... I've learnt my lesson after Darrell Russell!

It must be at least 40 pages back on KFFL hot wire by now... The Browns haven't signed a OG since so i can only imagine they're waiting for the cuts...

Why you guys so fast to throw Middleton out the door? He's been looking really good in pre-season and has a rejuvenated mental state. He's in the best shape i've ever seen him in.

Sorry but we don't have enough depth at guard to make any trade for a guard. We only have 3

Wike has experience playing Guard and Center and is good enough to get into the rotation.

His presence makes it possible to trade someone else. Norv Turner had 2 good centers (Stepnoski and Donaldson) and third one to long snap when he was in Dallas.

Usually he makes tackles into guards. Norv uses big zoneblocking guards. His movement/finesse types are usually centers who still have power ability and attitude.

Perhaps keeping 3 centers can work since each of them has experience at guard at the final 2 levels of the sport.

The guard who most likely can play tackle stays over the others as well.
