MAYBE!. and thats a big maybe, but once again the same statement is repeatedly being said about collins, he wants to START. and kyle boeler is their starter, collins is going to have to accept the fact that there is no starting job available as of now. it would be best for him to sign a one year dea and wait till next season.

I see Collins going to the niners, as well. The Ravens always have Chris Redman. I mean Wright sat behind him. I like the fact that the Ravens had the balls to draft and play a rook QB, of course they HAVE A POWER RUNNER, a great TE that they actually throw to and not just block for the QB....earth to Al & Norv! HUH!

I agree his best shot is with the winners
but then again there expecting there QB to be ready by the beginning of the season doubtful but who cares it's the winners. Collins should be a back up QB get paid for it, **** it would be like taking a paid vacation

The Ravens have Kyle Boller and Chris Redman. Although ESPN says that Collins could be "a good fit there", I think if Collins were smart he'd go the Whiners...if he wants to start so bad, that's his only chance.
Don't get me wrong...I'd love him to be here!

according to this article, Collins is in negotiations with the Raiders..
![]() http://www.***************/article.p...40521100312720 Depending on which newspaper you pick up and read this morning, Kerry Collins is either going to sign with the Raiders, or is inching closer to signing with the Raiders. Anonymous league sources said yesterday that negotiations between the Raiders and Collins are ongoing, but at a sensitive stage. It is already known that Collins cancelled a trip to Green Bay to visit with the Packers, the thinking being that he would have a better chance of playing with the Raiders. But wait, just as one would think that the field has narrowed down in the Collins' derby, enter the Baltimore Ravens, who just found out that their backup quarterback, Anthony Wright, will have to have surgery for a torn labrum in his right shoulder, sidelining him for a period of 4 weeks to 6 months. Conventional wisdom has the Ravens looking to either Kordell Stewart or Kurt Warner to replace Wright, but yesterday Ravens Coach Brian Billick did not rule out signing Collins, but only for a league-minimum salary. It is believed that the Raiders are offering Collins much more than that. And where does all of this leave Rich Gannon? Well, if the Raiders sign Collins, Gannon could very well find himself out the door if he refuses to reduce his $7 million salary. June 1st is fast approaching and should bring answers to many of our questions, but anything can happen between now and then. So keep those seat belts buckled up, stay tuned to Raidernews for breaking news, and enjoy the ride!

i think the raiders is the best place for collins to be a "back-up". because if gannon only has one more year left, he could come in immediately next season. and what if gannon gets injured this season again.......collins would be implemented immediately i thnk. we could use his skills

It only takes one good hit to put even a young QB out. And Gannon is no young QB.
