lets sign Quincy Carter from the Cowboys

i've heard a lot of rummours that the Cowboys want Kerry Collins to lead their attack with Drew Hensen learning the ropes - i personally would LOVE to have Quincy lead us, i think he'd be awesome

i think he's got the potential to be an excellent QB - i'd much prefer him to greedy-Gannon

NO WAY...when he entered the draft a few years ago, it was because he was told he was going from starter at Georgia to third string.

The the idiot Cowgirls draft him in the second round.

No thanks...I don't want another second rate college QB on our roster...after all don't we still have Rob Johnson and Tee Martin already.

The only option better than Gannon right now is Collins for this offense...And no Tee Martin isn't going to be the man...

I thought this thread was a joke.

Carter had some awesome talent at WR in Galloway, Bryant and Glenn and still couldn't get the ball to guys who were consistently open.

Quincy Carter ? That Quincy Carter from the Cowboys ?

Not even the Cowboys do believe, he could make an offense work.

Why should we ?

Start Gannon or Tui and everything will be fine. With our O-Line both would have decent success. Relax.

my god, now I have heard it all. I cannot see how ANYONE at all could even think that Quincy Carter will EVER be a QB that you can win with. The idea alone is absurd.

Quincy Carter should go back to baseball, he's not an NFL QB.

and have any of the folk who are criticising Tee Martin ever seen him play?
Also the Cowboys did alright last year, with no running game and Carter as their QB

I think Quincy has a chance to be a very good NFL quarterback. He's mobile and he throws a nice deep ball. He had some very good games for the Cowgirls last season, without the benefit of a running game. That said, I don't want him starting for the Raiders this year. He'd make for a nice developmental player behind Gannon though . . . better than Tui, in my opinion.
