Would be nice to have Kiff as a punching bag in the ACC for the next couple of years. Go HOKIES!!!!!!!

I'm not much of an ACC guy but it seems to me like Clemson never recovered from Alabama punching them in the mouth. They started the season ranked in the top 10 and after that loss it just seemes like they quit on the old ball coach.

-- Clemson Courting Lane Kiffin, but... --
Thu Oct 16, 2008 --from FFMastermind.com # The Tampa Tribune reports Clemson University is courting former Oakland Raiders HC Lane Kiffin to replace the recently fired HC Tommy Bowden. There's a catch, though. But the Tigers reportedly want Lane Kiffin to be their head coach, but only if he can bring his father, Buccaneers DC Monte Kiffin with him.

Probably. I think Monte wants to coach with his son before he's done. They obviously wanted to work together here in Oakland, so why wouldn't they try to get together at Clemson. I honestly believe Clemson will pursue Lane pretty heavily next year after they get rid of their interim head coach.
