Interesting that the RAIDERs fail to draft a receiver that is in their backyard and available 2 yrs in a row. (Jones Packers)

Here is the problem with what you are proposing. #1 Fargas ran for like 1,000 yards in 1/2 of a seaosn last year. Darren McFadden will probalby split time in the backfield with Fargas because they want to ease him into it. As for Andrew Walter we need a viable back up for JaMarcus Russell. You need to keep both of those players they are important. Walter is still a good back up QB you need someone like that. I say this year you go with what you have and next year try to draft a WR in the first round, or go after one in free agency. Hopefully Javon Walker can get out of his slup and Carter will stay healthy. I think Carter, Walker, Curry, and Miller would be able to hold down the fort for now. I'll be disappointed if next year we don't draft a few WR's and knowing Al Davis he is itching to draft a speedy WR. I understand drafting Run DMC and Jamarcus because we needed a franchise QB and RB. I don't think Javon Walker is a franchise WR we need to draft one next year, or go after one in FA.

yeah, your right... it is a mis-leading title, and I thought more into it, like I stated a few post up, If Wlaker gets going, we can be fine, I did;nt want to see either one of them two go, but when it comes to trades, we have to trade someone worth value, and those two seem to be what we can give up, but even if Curry goes in @ #1 WR, and drew Carter, and ect. step up, Walker could still be used if need be.
just have to wait to see who beats who out?

What about not trading either one of them and picking up Joe Horn as a little veteran competition?

There could be a lot of upside to him, but if we could get somebody good for him, Bush would be worth trying to move plus a pick.

Joe Horn says, "Joe Horn still has some gas left in the tank. Joe Horn can get it done for the Raiders. Joe Horn this and Joe Horn that." -- You ever see that Karl Malone skit that Jimmy Kimmel used to do on The Man Show? Joe Horn is pretty much the same guy.

That being said, it is a good idea to bring a wily veteran in for some competition. Too bad we can't take a fly on Chris Henry anymore now that he's re-signed with the Bungles. Ask me a two months ago if we should try to bring in either Horn or Henry, I say HELL NO... but desperate times call for desperate measures.

I also think we overvalue Fargas at times. He had 4 100-yd games against subpar rushing defenses KC, DEN, MIA, and HOU. Name a player on any of those defenses that Fargas should be afraid of?

I wouldn't do either of these. You don't fill holes by creating other holes. AW is the only legitimate backup right now, Tui isn't the answer as the #2. Also, running backs get hurt, you need 3 reliable backs to get through a season, if not more. Even if one of the RBs is Fargas, a guy with a history of injuries....

I am surprised you guys like Walter so much. I personally am shocked he hasn't been cut yet. He is terrible. While I love Fargas, the one two punch of mcfadden bush is more than enough. Trade Fargas, cut walter, cut walker.

Walter is no better than Tui. He has a stronger arm but Tui is much more calm in the pocket, which isn't actually saying much. Walter has a panic attack anytime he feels pressured and has no accuracy whatsoever. They are both 3rd string qb's who mean nothing.
