raiders get permission to talk to warner.

heard it from Haksaw on fox sports radio. says they might trade him for a conditional fifth rounder next year. he would also have to give up some of his salary.

one question comes to mind. WHY?

A conditional 5th plus he is going to renegotiate. I am down with that. Imagine Warner lofting the ball deep over Fitgerald and Porter's shoulders. WIth Tim and Jerry running around underneath. It could be a beautiful thing.

I just hope he leaves his wife in St. Louis!!!!!

Looks like Al Davis is making one last run at the Superbowl. I like the idea, he's a proven winner and Norvell Turner will be running QB friendly offense. Given the time to throw Warner still could put it right on the mark.

I would also for Al to draft a young a QB.

But you have to admit for 2 years Warner had the best run of any QB in the history of the NFL. Those 2 years he were right up there with the top 2-3 QB of all time.

For a 5th rounder next year, hell yeah. If Gannon can't pick up his game and gets injured. Tui is quick but easily get injured. It would be good to have a strong arm like Warner. If we can protect him he will be good. I can't really say I'm excited with Mirer at all.

If Kurt would leave the battle ax in St. Louis maybe. He would have to give up a ton of money though to make this work. If he did that and it is only a 5th sure why not? I guess it is starting to become clear why the Rams signed China Doll Chris Chandler

Kurt Warner had 2 of the best years ever because the other skill positions were stacked with talent. Donald Hollas would have made the Pro Bowl with that team and system.

I think Warner get's hurt more than any other QB in the NFL, and he can't take hits either, he wimps out. Every time I think he would be good here, I flash back to the super bowl against the pats and remeber him fumbling on that two yard run.

Who would you rather have for a 3rd option Mirer or Warner. I would go with Warner in a heartbeat.

Mirer atleast plays with heart, cause he knows every snap could be his last. Warner doesnt give a rats arse anymore, and would cost a left and right nut.
