Couch to the Packers

"A Cleveland broadcaster reports that the Packers are interested in Tim Couch and may meet with him in Cleveland.
The report has Mike Sherman talking with Couch about being Brett Favre's backup and possible successor."

Interesting...with the talk of Favre retiring soon, this would seem to be a good move for the Pack if it indeed happens.

I agree and Farve could lead him around by the nose so that he picks up the system quickly. I would rather have Ahman Green as a runningback.

well, looks like this is starting to gain a little steam...if it happens, you can scratch the rumor that cleveland would move up with us by giving us a package that included Couch

Am i the only one who DIDN'T want Couch?? Sure i think the guy was in a ****ty system with a ****ty team and a ****ty coach...but still he's not worth the risk. Even a good QB in a ****ty surrounding should look better than 64 Touchdown passes and 67 Interceptions.

nah, I didn't want him...thats why I am happy this rumor is floating around now. We already have a young, untested QB in Tui, so why add Couch into the mix?
