Question Trade RUMOR...
I was watching the comcast/fox soports package late last night, not even sure what region i was in, may had been flordia area, but anyways... here is what they said:

One possible place for Jason Taylor to get traded, may be with thwe Oakland Raiders...

even thought the dolphins are not highly in need for a RB the trade would send Lamont Jordan to Miami, for Jason Taylor, and a conditional 2009 draft pick.
i was tryong to record it, but it was at the end of the show, and the program changed to commerial programming.

i tried to research and see if cap wise we could allow this, and if i saw it any place yet, but can't

anyone else here of this, or was i dreaming and woke up

I would not believe that until I saw it but if it is true I'd do it in a heartbeat.

How much money does Taylor make though? He's highly paid isn't he?

The Raiders would have to cut quite a few players to make enough cap space for that deal. It would be an awesome trade for the Raiders, but Lamont's contract is over $4 million for 2008 and Jason Taylor gets paid quite a bit as well.

And yes, Bill Parcells would have to be VERY drunk to do that trade.

what's really nice is that I do not think we aree to far way, in so far as, with the defense. could you imagine if we had someone of his abilities? hopefully most step up this season and we see a big difference. i have been saying all along that i would love to have him here..i htink he would take a little less to go almost anywhere else.

We're a little bit under the cap. With June cuts coming up we'll be even more. Hopefully if Oakland can get Taylor to restructure, and by some miracle parcells over looks the fact that jordan sucks, it could happen.

Would be sweet if Al & Parcells got together to make a deal happen. I'd love to see it.
