culpepper is one of the dumbest piece of **** qbs in the nfl. he was never any good. he has always been a backup qb that was overhyped and got to throw to randy moss. i would not want him mentoring russell at all. culpepper is awful. i'd take aaron brooks over culpepper.

Considering the options, hmmm let's see. I think it would be a wise move to bring him back. Looked like he and Jamarcus had a pretty good relationship last year, and ,an old vet could help bring him along. You know take him under his wing show him the ropes. I really hope this happens

Lets not panic about Dilfer. If the Raiders are interested in him, there may be something about him. Perhaps he is a student of the game and has great understanding on running the plays, but simply does not have the physical tools. The whole idea is to bring in a vet to MENTOR Russell. Not necessarily to lead the team to the Super Bowl if Russell went down. Regardless, if Russell goes down the season is shot anyway. There must be something deeper about Dilfer beyond the film for the Raiders to have an interest.

I'd *ahem* pass...insert "groan" here
Culp wants to start. GB isn't going to be the place unless Rodgers is complete ****. He may be on the couch with Henry and Alexander until injuries or the mid way point has teams scrambling and desperate enough to open their wallets. Given a solid system, decent blocking and a ground game Culp could probably contribute if needed. |
