I like the way a lot of folks are insinuating that STU is a major flaw in our run d...everyone wants him to go to SD or DEN so he will give Mcfadden more running lanes. I hate to burst your bubbles but those teams actually stop the run with their front 7... seeing as STU's responsibility in the cover 1 has him playing a deep zone in the center of the field (most of the time).... it is beyond ridiculous to suggest he is any major problem in the pourus oaklang run d. With that said him staying or going is really a nonstory.

Look on the bright side of this loss. Just imagine what this place would be like had we won two in a row? It would be completely delusional with folks talking about a playoff run and folks thinking we are better than we are. At least there won't be that big let down and fans leaving threats of being done forever.

Looking at the roster and from Ryans comments about the Tyvon Branch, Stu is probably gone.

Wouldn't be smart, IMO. He has starting experience, he is inexpensive. Not everyone can be a starter.

Man I would love for him to go somewhere else and have a very productive year he really doesn't deserve the animosity he recieves from us fans he was a serviceable player I would take him over a lot of our previous safeties and I have never heard of him ever being anything but a great guy from the fans that have met him.

You're absolutely correct. He did miss some tackles, but he really did not deserve the reputation that he developed around here.

Make any excuse up you want about STU cause when it comes down to it Stu couldn't make the important tackles when they were needed so now he might be released because of it.

I can't wait until stu is released

Stuart Schweigert was the reason why I wanted either Tom Zbikowski or Caleb Campbell in the Draft, so we could dump Stu and use one of the two in a 2-SS system with Gibril Wilson.

Adrian Peterson... 292 yards against San Diego great job of the front 7; Stu would only help! (us that is)

We averaged 140 yards a game against Denver without McFadden; Denver has done nothing to improve their front 7 this offseason. McFadden may break Peterson's record against them this year as Jordan left A LOT of yards on the field against them.

Stu may have been a nice guy off the field and thats cool. This planet needs more nice people. We need productive football players on this team. Stu should thank Jesus that he is blessed to have made the money he has made so far. But players don't get paid for being nice. You want to be nice nice, go work at Walmart as a greeter. We need productive football players to help this football team win games. Period.

Why is anyone excited about this? Think about it, Stu was a third round pick a few years back if i remember. F. Washington was traded for a 4th rounder today. Our drafting over the last several years has just gotten poorer and poorer. I really hate to say this but w/ in 2 years Huff will be wearing another jersey and as for JR and DMAC. Well i just hate to think of what will happen to them considering who drafted them. Love ya Al but man you gotta get w/ the program and run this bitch like every other NFL franchise.

He can take "his boy" with him. But this was one reason I liked Stu.<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iaC6t-yaYgY&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iaC6t-yaYgY&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
