The Perfect Situation

This plan could get us many high draft picks, and getting many good players:
1. Trade down with Cincinnati; we give them our first round pick for Chad Johnson and their first round pick.
2. Then trade Asomugha (if worst comes to worst) for Vince Wilfork and NE first round pick.
3. Trade Jordan for a 5th rounder, and Schweigert for a second rounder.

Then draft:
#7 - Ryan Clady - OT - Boise State
#9 - Leodis McKelvin - CB - Troy
(Somewhere in second round) - Lawrence Jackson - DE - USC

In conclusion, we would be only giving up our first round pick, Asomugha and Schweigert, for all the players listed above

Anyone like it?

Totally unrealistic.

Stu is not worth a second rounder. He was benched last year. Same with Jordan. Nobody is going to trade for a player they know will be cut in seconds.

Aso cant be traded because he has not signed the tender.

Chad is on the down part of his career, not to mention he wants to go to a winning team, which we are not.

Schweigert for a second rounder? Absolutely ain't going to happen bro. Like the idea, but totally unrealistic. New England wouldn't trade Wilfork either, let along him AND their first round pick.

Nice ideas, but I don't see them happening.

True. Aside from the fact do we want to give NE Aso. I think not.

Even if I liked it, which I don't, there are too many moving parts to be able to pull something like this off. Sounds like a lot of risk to us with little reward.

Aside from that, Nnamdi will be re-signed and remain a Raider. Opinion, not fact.

Totally, completely unrealistic. That would not even work in Madden 08. NE would NEVER trade the 7th pick AND Vince Wilfork for a CB, even if it is Nnamdi. And on what planet is Stu worth a 2nd round pick? I would tend to think that any GM trading a 2nd rounder for Stu would be fired instantly.
