I don't think Al Davis will still be GM by the time the stadium is done.

But it will be a dream come true if the Raiders move to L.A!!!

Plus there are plenty of Raider Fans here in L.A

The L.A. Coliseum commision screwed the pooch and did not live up to thier bargain of a renovated stadium, so Al went home to Oakland.

If I remember correctly, Oakland promised Al the same if he came back. I know one thing, the Oakland Coliseum is FAR from state of the art.

I like the Raiders in the bay.

Although I love L.A. and my two other teams are in L.A., I like having my football team in the bay area, since it gives that bay area connection.

Selfish reasons for myself, but forgetting about me for a minute, it sure does make a lot of sense to go back to L.A.

Brand new spiffy stadium, hot, young team. It's just the kind of change the organization needs to help turn things around and make the Raiders relevant again. Also, hopefully by 2011, the Raiders will be contenders again.

Folks we are talking about America Online here, you know th company that ruled the internet back when 56k dial up was considered high speed internet, but you treat this bullsh*t blog as if it were legit.

If anyone ACTUALLY builds Al a state of the art new stadium that he's been promised for almost 2 decades - he will go there, whether it's in Oakland, Cowtown, L.A. or Irwindale....

And I agree but this thread is baseless speculation based on a blog of baseless speculation.

At this point, weve heard no credible reports that Al and the city of LA have reconciled their differences.

The fans were lukewarm towards the Raiders the first time around, then they left. Why would the city of LA want them back? They barely gave a sh*t the first time around. I know the team has a few diehards in LA, but LA is not a great football town and it never will be.

And its no secret that the NFL has been dying to get a team back in LA, the blog also mentions the Jaguars, Bills and Vikings. The writer even says the following...

the stadium would be done by 2011 if they started building in 2009 and our lease is up in 2010. so it makes no sense to move them and they are the Oakland raiders they started here they should stay here. I would hate the fact that AL would pick up and move again to the same place he left.

dumb idea i would say put the niners there since they want to move so bad.
