First of all I never said it was a rumor of some sort, all I said was "How is this for a trade"...I also said it was an 'outreach'. Lovie smith is seriously considering a RB due to his inconsistent current players at that position. Link - Bears coach Lovie Smith: Clock ticking for Cedric Benson -- chicagotribune.com
And considering there were a handful of NFL team rep. present at Arkansas pro day but he was the only coach present. Obviously he likes one of their backs, he even took em' out to lunch. Link - NWAnews.com :: Northwest Arkansas' News Source Once again all I was proposing was a trade scenario. BTW appreciate the feedback guys. THX |

Shawn Alexander isn't getting it done anymore... Walter is elite...and Seattle just doesn't have the running game they once had.......I doubt Seattle would let the best player on they're team go --------but worth enquiring. If we're gonna take the pick and we can't get a good enough LT. I think we're better off hanging in there with our pick and getting Chris Long. Long might fall into our laps. I guess all my fellow Raider fans here want to be the Ravens-----all defense and no Offense. I'd rather be an offensive team first............and Russell needs his blind side protected.

Well if Chicago were that stupid to give us Harris, 1st and 2nd round picks for McFadden, I would be jumping for joy. But in reality, it ain't going to happen. If it were to happen this would be our choices:
1st Round - Phillip Merling - DE - Clemson 2nd Round - Mario Manningham/Malcolm Kelly - WR - Michigan/Oklahoma |
