sounds like youve been listening to lewis talk. chad isnt kobe and the situation are totally different.

i hate that comparison. kobe is one of five players on the court at one time he touches the ball almost every play and he plays defense. he's the best player in the league and a leader of the franchise.

chad gets 10 to 12 looks a game at the most. and is a great player on a team of 53. he doesnt even come close to the same impact that kobe does on the game. its just a bad comparison.....plus the lakers promised to do certain stuff and it wasnt until kobe got upset did the lakers finally make a move.

Ok, Kobe Lover, I can appreciate the fact the Kobe is probably the best in the game today and Chad is not. It doesn't make them a GM, does it? Kobe suggested a trade featuring ANDREW BYNUM and others for JASON KIDD. Now tell me how that would've helped the team, being that they're third in the West, challenging for first in the conference, owing a lot of their success to Bynum's improvement?

Fact is, it wasn't until Kobe started playing for the TEAM's interests instead of his OWN that they started winning. Until he was able to start doing that again, and prove again that the Lakers can be good with him as a leader, he wasn't going to get any help from the Lakers front office. The Lakers made NO move when he got upset in the preseason. Only when they started winning again, did they make the trade for Gasol, and now they're a really good team.

But don't give me that "i don't like that comparison" BS because I compared two unlike athletes, or because one only plays offense or one plays more or one's better than the other. The comparison is between two similar, selfish personalities and the fact that they're too absorbed in the team bringing in expensive talent for support rather than working with the supporting cast they have and being leaders. Sure, I understand frustration, but if you say you will not return to your team next year, I expect to see you in a jersey that doesn't feature Purple and Gold.

These guys are "full of bologne," like my momma says. And they both (along with an endless list of athletes) use to the media to get what they want. Aren't these guys PROFESSIONAL athletes? Doesn't seem all that professional to me...

And given that a lot of Raider fans are also Laker fans, I'm sure there's plenty more Kobe Lovers like you on this site that are nice and pissed off at my comments, so bring it!

As for the playing for Oakland part, the DJ is a Raider fan and said to Chad that he would love it if he was playing WR for Oakland. Chad replied with something like he would love to play for the Raiders, and since other players get traded often enough, he doesn't understand why he can't be traded.

I'm not sure how this would be feasible for Oakland though.
Good memory, that's almost verbatim

calm down...dont get bent yet....lol.....kobe was wrong for talking shiet and getting caught on video. kobe thought the prospect of getting kid or another player would be a step in the right direction. i thought the same thing....we were wrong. bynum showed up by doing the little things like putbacks and layups=alleyhoops, and shot defending. he's not a primary scorer but he does everything a we need out of the center spot. he finally showed up. good for him for proving all of us wrong good for the lakers for doing the right thing.

you talk about the players being selfish....ok....name a person in this world that aint selfish? everybody is but we dont all have the camera on us like these guys do....not saying theyre right for their actions and words but showing you that they are not alone.

whats your real point that you dont like the lakers or chad and that both are vocal against their teams and wanted out. ok got it. now what? thats the only thing that is the same.....different type of people different type of situation.

Speaking of getting caught on camera, how about that Matt Leinart and those beer bong skillz? Way to be a PRO, Matt! He goes from hanging out with Paris Hilton to doing beer bongs? That's being a true chemelian if you ask me!

I admit I'm a Dubs fan, naturally not a Laker fan, but not so much an anti-Laker/anti-Kobe/anti-Chad. I'd take either player on my perspective team. The point was "is this just Chad making noise again?" I say no, because this interview was conducted off the air. So, it means he does actually have a true desire to come to Oakland. I have to admit I didn't believe him before, because I just thought he was stirring the pot in Cincy, much like ur boy, Kobe, did in LA.

i asume your a denver fan cuz me and a couple of my coworkers couldnt figure out who the dubs were? lol

ok....the difference is the player/person and the situation...to be totally honest i really dont understand what the problem is/was in cinnci....i heard he was punching people but then i heard that was just a rumor. when he talks he doesnt say much other than he wants out. he doesnt say why.

chad is not kobe and kobe isnt chad. i like chad he's a great player a little crazy in the head, doesnt communicate that well but he can play balls out and normally does game after game. i like that.

kobe burned bridges then had to sit in the same room with the people he burned and had to face that....he did and now the teams playing better than ever and so is kobe. of course gasol has a lot to do with that tho.

chad did somethin or something was done to chad to piss him off. kobe just wanted to win so bad that he was blinded by the big picture...plus the dr. buss son was talking shiet on the side about kobe and blaming kobe for everything wrong at the time...people dont talk about that as much tho...funny to me.

for chad to get out of cinci he has to do a couple of things one thing is he has to make the bungels want to trade him two he has to find a team that would want him and pay for him....ummmmm that sounds like the raiders to me...lol i never said chad was stupid!!!

Dubs is short for the letter "W", which means I'm a Warriors fan. I don't fault you and your coworkers for not picking up the East Bay slang. We're a unique people.

Man, where do you work? Everytime I get on this site at work (like now), I have to minimize the screen everytime someone (especially my boss) walks by because people are so judgemental and petty when they see a "non-work" site up on my screen. Nobody wants to have fun or talk anything besides business, so I could never talk to my coworkers about who the Dubs are during normal business hours haha. I need to change jobs dammit!
