also if we keep our players right now no new RB who's our number one starter?
IMO, that gets ironed out during the OTA's, mini-camp, training camp, but as of today if we were playing a game on Sunday, the starter would have to be Justin Fargas, with Rhodes and Bush backing up (Jordan would be cut by Thursday ).

while i think what you said makes sense i wonder...why?

nutz, doesn't it also make sense to start playing bush more or is it just me...i mean what was the real reason for drafting him? was it to play backup or was it to start? to me thats the question that id like answered cuz he's supposedly our most talented back? is that just fan/media hype or is that the truth?

cuz to me Jordan is our best runner followed up by Rhodes and fargas. when Jordan is on he can do it all except hit the long run but then again none of our RB (except for bush cuz i dont know what he can do) can hit the home run. Jordan doesn't do the little things right and i think thats why he got demoted. blocking and reading assignments. sometimes he doesnt look like he plays all out.

Rhodes is a player that can do everything good. he's a great backup. short n sweet.

fargas runs hard and gets tackled easily. the thing that he does better than any other back is hit the hole quicker and that helps with our sorry line. the holes close quick in the league. having that first step is something jordan also doesnt have or lost because of injury. hmmmm maybe rhodes is our best back after all....lol

Jordan our best runner? Whaaaat?

Fargas has his fair share of broken tackles as well. More than Jordan for sure, because Jordan is too busy dancing in the backfield to even get to the whole. It makes me sick to my stomach that I was happy when we signed him.

I was happy when we signed him too. I thought we finally had a legitimate RB that we could count on... I was mistaken. He is/was a backup, and always will be... in my opinion. He is too afraid of getting hurt to run all out. Except for speed, he has the tools. He just doesn't have the heart to use them.

Call it a hunch, but I think MB is going to light it up this year. I believe we have our feature back in MB. He may not be this season, but I believe he will be in the future. I'm not worried in the least about his leg, or that he hasn't played in 2 years. I'm fairly confident that he hasn't forgotten how to play....... and he WANTS to prove that he can!

nah i ended up stating that Rhodes is probably our best back right now cuz he does everything good...compared to Jordan who just runs better. a lot of people complain about the dancing part of his game but that never bothered me. its the fact that he doesn't have the desire to do it all...blocking....reading the defense..stuff like that....i think that once he got hurt he never hit the hole the same and that's why he was demoted...just think if he didnt get hurt we'd be talking about a career year.
