Raiders re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE John Madsen, WR Chris McFoy, LS Jon Condo, LB Ricky Brown, and OT Mark Wilson.

Madsen is basically a wideout playing tight end. He caught eight balls for 102 yards in 2007. Oakland is especially high on Wilson as a left tackle prospect. There's an outside chance he'll get a look there along with Kwame Harris.

Good deal - I wonder what the cap hit will be for these guys. Anybody know if they were already counted against the cap in earlier reported numbers?

All these guys are URFA they count for only like 325,000 each I think.

Actually, so I'm a bit excited by these signings in the wake of Hall. Tells me (speculation on my part) we had a plan all queued up waiting for the Hall deal to be consummated. I would love to see Nnamdi ink an extension in about 30 minutes or so.

I read on espn that if Nnamdi signs long term we are gonna be in real good shape with the cap. Man, i hope this works out. this D could be bad ass.
