Huff/Washington to be traded?

THis is just speculation but with Hall, Gibril and Nnamdi we cannot really afford Huff and Washington...Does anyone think they will be moved soon?

i beleive washington will be moved but i think huff sticks around! But i would say that there is a pretty good shot that washington will be gone! i just hope we get decent compensation for him but hey if we can get a 2nd for buchanon then anything is possible

I think this will be Huff's year. He can play at a position more suited to his strengths and you best believe Aso,Hall and Wilson will be in this guys ear all year. They know the talent he has.

Huff will be around. If he shows nothing again after this year then he will be gone. But if he can show play making skills then he will be here for a long time. Fabs is likely gone. Even though i think we could get more if we traded Routt

Its safe to say Washington is out of here, especially after his trouble with the law. He lost his job to Rout anyways. As for Huff, he should be moved to free safety where his talent can help make plays and Gibril is a hard hitting well rounded tackler who will be a good fit at strong safety.

I wouldnt be surprised if both Routt and Washington get traded for Draft picks if possible.. After tradeing Moss last year I believe Bowie will probably take over Routts roll as the speed corner.. and with us having next to no draft selections this year I wouldnt be surprised to see Jordan or Rhodes moved for a pick as well. It really depends on if we can find people willing to make the trade.

I think Washington will be moved but as for Huff I think he is going to have a big year. With two of the best corners in the league I think QB's will try to pick on our weakest link, with that being Huff he will step it up and make big plays for us this year.

Huff ain't goin' anywhere, it's too early to give up on him plus over the next two years his base salary is less then a million each year. So we can afford to give him more time. I hope Fabian can get us some good value, I like him, but he's gotta go.

PLEASE stop the threads about Huff being moved. He was the #7 overall pick just a few years ago, his contract is huge. Huff will not be moved. Washington?? Well he's certainly more likely but i hope he isn't moved just yet. I think he has all the ability and can be a good player in the league, definately not at his current contract price tag but i think we can endure it for 2008 then dump him. Wouldn't be surprised if we used him as trade bait to pick up another pick this year but just don't think he has any value.

I like Huff and I want to see him do well. I'll say this...a team in need of a safety will not find a great one in the draft. Huff has the highest trade value, and Stu's skill set (I know I know) are similar at a much lower price. Shoot, if we packaged Huff and Washington we might be be able to get a second top 10 pick.
