Roland back on radar

States we are interested in Roland Williams again. This can't be a good sign for drafting Winslow.

Why should we need to draft another TE? We already have Teyo, Jolley, Santoago, and we're looking at getting free agent Jason Dunn? WinSLOW ould be a wasted draft pick for us. We're almost stacked at the TE position. We need to draft either a WR, Safety, DE/DT, or QB.

I think it is just a measure incase Dunn (Chefs) signs elsewhere.

I for one HATE this idea.I mean when we traded for Williams a few years back it cost us a mid round pick. And then not to mention, the guy didn't do a whole hell of a lot but stay on the injury bench. If he didn't do much before, what the hell is he going to do now.We do have Jolley & TJ.santiago is a FA but we can re-sign him IF Dunn falls through

I think we should just resign Santiago and leave the TE position alone. Jolley is a good pass catcher, Santiago is a good blocker, and we dont know about Teyo yet. We have too many other needs to be wasting time and money on more TE's. Just say NO to Winslow!!!

The Dunn thing I understood, sort of, because he is a premiere blocker.

Slo Ro is a good blocker, but he not that good. He's also been prone to injury lately.

Re-sign OJ, and move the hell on. Not entirely certain why they've not already done this.

Williams and Dunn can make the spread O work. Guys who are like 6th offensive linemen. The kind of guys that make the run available per play. Dunn may have pass catch abilities as well. Roland has a great work ethic also.

He never dissed the team when it was time to go, he praised the Organization and the fans.

Is Roland really 100% after that injury he had last time he was with us?

Yeah, Roland is a class act who has a strong presence in the locker room, is always laughing and smiling, and IS a good blocker ... he can pull a few down too.
I like Santiago's size ... but he looks skinny .. is he really able to block well? From last year you've got to say yes.

I for one would be elated if we got Winslow ... no TE on this roster compares at all to that level of potential production.
