To go from #6 (1600 pts) to #2 (2600 pts), the Jets would have to give up the entire rest of their draft, or a major pick next year to move up.
I couldn't find a list of all their exact picks this year, but approximating:
#36 (6th pick, 2nd round) = 520
#70 = 240
#102 = 92
#134 = 39
#166 = 26
#198 = 13.2
That doesn't add up to 1000 yet. By comparison, if they had the #16 pick next year, they could give that up (although I don't know if a pick in a following year is discounted - I imagine there's some sort of lesser value for a future pick, right?).
Doubt this will happen.
