Some pretty damaging info there on Kiffin...that he not only showed interest for College jobs but even had an interview with Arkansas for the HC job without Al obviously knowing about it.

I'm not buying that story. The media has been swarming all of the coaching moves for months now. If Kiffin had a meeting with Arkansas, some media outlet would have been all over that already. But not one peep has been uttered by any of the "mainstream" media about the situation.

Ya and look where Moss and woodson are now. Both are on the verge of going to the Super Bowl. If that's any kind of indication, Kiffin may just take his next team to a championship if he leaves.This Al Davis's fault. He is driving players and coaches away and all are having much more success elsewhere because Al wants to keep meddling in day-to-day affairs that continues to destroy this team. Al Davis needs to go. The league needs to step in and relieve Al of his duties. I believe Lane wants to continue coaching and improving the Raiders, but is getting extremeley irritated with Al interfering and therefore is losing interest in coaching here. How much longer do the fans have to endure this crap from Al and suffer the endless losing seasons?

Man I hope you're right brother. From where I'm sitting it sounds pretty darn convincing. If it is true and Lane pulled that ****, he can get the fuk out of DODGE! I don't really think story has much weight, Al would have fired his ass already and took a shoot at Garret. The truth of the situation is that even though Lane only went 4-12 in his first season, we were competive in all of those games except two--Jacksonville and Green Bay. Bottom line, give Lane atleast another two or three years and then re-evalute this performance.

I would agrue to say that Woodson and Moss are on the verge of getting a ring because of Brady and Farve. If we had them both still on the team today (I doubt Raiders would be in the Championship game) We dont have that. Al Davis has been to more SB's then Kiffin has won games. If Kiffin isnt loyal get rid of him. Its not Al's fault he doesnt want to give up the keys to a 31 yr old kid.
