kiffin job is safe, at least for another year, he will have to improve to ut least 500 next year to keep his job.... he came in and the ship was a mess, he is going in the right direction. raiders were competitive in 75 approx of there games... they had a lead in maybe 3 or 4 games going into the 4th and lost.... growing pains.....

I think his job is safe for the next year too, only way he leaves is if he wants to like gruden was going to.
and the only raider fans that are still jaded as you put it, are the fans that refuse to accept the fact that gruden was gone at the end of the year with no compensation to us. you don't think that the bucs would trade away monte kiffin for (2) 1sts and (2) 2nds and cold hard cash at the start of the year if they KNEW FOR A FACT!!!!! that he was going to leave when his contract expried att he end of the season? granted what we got in the trade was a bunch of busts, and you could say we lost the superbowl because of it. But thats like saing we gave the super bowl to the pats with the moss trade. WRONG!!!! |

Don't agree with that at all. I think , 7-9 or 8-8 guarantees him another year. Steady improvement, year upon year will go a long way in showing that the ship is turned around and headed in the right direction.
