Looks like Ocho cinco wants out of Cincy

Would ya want him nation?

Quote:
STINKO SPEAKS OUT ON SIRIUS

After keeping his mouth shut for most of the past couple of months, Bengals receiver Chad Johnson a/k/a Ocho Cinco a/k/a Ocho Stinko was interviewed Friday on Sirius NFL Radio by Adam Schein and Ross Tucker.

Though we didn't hear the whole thing (we're trying to get audio clips or a transcript), Johnson was talking openly about not being with the team in 2008.

In fact, its sounded as if he's resigned to the fact that he won't be back. At times, we got the impression that he wants to go to a new team.

We'll get more info on what he actually said, and we'll be posting it here.

No thanks on Johnson. He is certainly far more talented than any of the Raiders current WR's. But he has been a constant distraction to his team all season. The Raiders are currently not a better team than Cincinnati, so why would Johnson's act get any better in Oakland, where his new QB wouldn't be half as developed as Carson Palmer is right now.

EDIT-- The Raiders definitely do need to acquire a better option at WR this off-season. If it's Johnson then I hope he can play as well in Oakland as he has in Cincy. If it's not him, the Raiders HAVE to get an impact player at WR to pair with Russell early in his career. The sooner the better. I don't care how, whether it's via the draft or a trade or a Free Agent signing. But whoever it is he had better be FAST. The Raiders need someone with more speed than Porter, Curry, and Higgins to keep defenses from crowding the box and bringing extra defenders after Russell.

Lightbulb yeah right?

who wouldn't want chad on their team? what has chad done in his career to be labeled a trouble maker? why cause he talk trash and back it up on the field. heck, thats what we need out there, a person with a lil attitude! ya'll think porter still any good? i didn't think so. i wish we could get him, that way when jamarcus does get the keys to the offense, he already has a good running game, a clutch receiver in curry and mr. do it all chad johnson. what more can you ask for on offense? send him to us PLEASE! make a trade, DO SOMETHING!

All I know is there is not a TO, Moss, Chad WR in the first round of the draft and I think Jamarcus could use a real WR threat and he seems to fit the bill. Just my .02

All I know is that if Coach Kifin wants C Johnson then bring him aboard. It would be pretty sweet to see Johnson celebrate a TD in the Black Hole. I am just a little nervous about what has seemed to be a crummy attitude this year when the chips are down.

I guess though that most of Johnson's comments really stem from a desire to win and for his team to be a winning team. Things aren't going his way and he's being vocal about it. Warren Sapp does the same thing in Oakland and for the most part the fans all eat it up.

Chad is a playmaker and is something we don't have ANY of on O. The one thing I will say about Chad is he NEVER quits on the field. He is a TO type not Moss type. He will b!tch but, he will give his all during game time and what more could you ask for as a fan?

I agree we should give up no more than a second. I was just saying there is no WR in this draft class close to Chad that was all

I take him in a heart beat, as mentioned we need a #1 BAD!!!!
JP could go and if he stays best put as a #2
RC best work comes as a #3 or #2
JLH the best he can do is follow Currys foot steps from practice squad to be a #3 receiver years from now.

but I don't think CJ would come here let alone what would we give up to get him. not a top 10 pick or our 2nd.

I also here that Roy Williams wants out of Detroit, and Detroit wants CJ as their #1 so they might grant his wish. I would dump our 2nd on him but it will take more than that to get him.
