I note you use the term "as many as 10". Whild these are possible, I doubt they will all happen. Seattle, Philly, Giants would be unlikely to change thsi year for starters. I guess any team that does not make the play-offs can fall into the category of "HC change".

Giants (definatly could happen)
ATL (Know it will happen) Miami (only Tuna knows for sure) St Louis (Linehan is out I believe) Seattle (only if Holmgren steps down, not happening) San Fran (Possible) Phili (only if Reid steps down, could happen with his sons problems) Balt (yes) Cinci (I would take Lewis) Washington (Gibbs isn't going anywhere) Carolina (I can see it happening) On the Bubble Oakland ( if Kiff goes back to college but I think if not he gets at least 4 games next year to prove his worth) KC (Not going to happen this year, maybe next) Denver (not happening) Detroit (could definatly happen) My count for over under is 7 coaching changes |

New York Giants Will not happen. It has become apparent that tiki may very well have been the cancer there, and with a definate playoff run (even if they fall short) he gets another year.
Atlanta Yup, done deal Miami No, although he deserves a firing, I suspect thet it does not happen. While Parcells is impatient, the owner is not. I think he gets another year St Louis No, this will not happen. They do not typically fire coaches often Seattle Holmgren will not be fired. Playoff coaches rarely do San Francisco Im in the air on this one. I think he should be fired, but I wonder if he WILL be fired. I am leaning towards not. Philadelphia No, they will fire the QB Baltimore Although I am all about him being fired, I do not see it happening. But I do find it funny that the offensive genius cannot move the ball. Cincinnati I would fire him, but that is just me. 50/50 on this guy Washington Gibbs stays Carolina No, Fox will not get axed. Injuries have done the year in, not the coach ......on the bubble Oakland Almost positive that he gets axed. Kansas City No, it will not happen Denver This is the one that made me laugh. You do realize that you are talking about firing a coach that has won two Super Bowls. You would be hard pressed to find someone willing to do that. No, he stays Detroit No, that team is vastly better. He stays |

Actually, I did not distinguish a firing (Coughlin) from someone stepping down (Holmgren), I will add Indy to that mix as well. In reference to Shanahan he went with Cutler and he has missed the palyoffs 2 yrs in a row based on that decision. He won 2 superbowls 10 yrs ago since then he has won 1 playoff game since...he is NOT on steady gound!!

Ok enough w/ the BS, my bad.
But seriously why would Kiffin get fired? I mean obviously they aren't back in the post season but he has put together some wins the team is in every game except for Green Bay. The locker room seems to be buying in. I just don't see Kiffin getting axed w/ all that he has done this year, major improvements. But i guess we are talking about Al. |

Yes he mentioned it last year, age, preparation for a season and family.
