Lightbulb If Kiff is leaves we should boycott going to Raider games and buying gear.
If Al wants to destroy our beloved Raiders, we should help him and not attend games and buy gear until he steps down or passes.

I'm sick and tired of having hope that things will get better but then have his ego get in the way of our Raiders being victorious.

First it was Gruden and now Kiffen, Al has possibily cost us two of the better coaches in the league.

If Al wants to destroy our beloved Raiders? I think Al has a hell of a lot more than you or I invested into this team. I will still buy gear.

Gruden left on his own for Florida, his family lives down there and he was wanting coaching jobs down that way anyway. People keep blaming Al for this and it's just ridiculous.

It might be easy to blame everything on Al, but this is not always the case. Just sit back and see if this rumor is even true before getting all twisted up over it.

I've been seeing threads mentioning an outburst from Kiffin regarding Petrino taking the Loisville job, exactly what the hell is going on? Maybe something was taken out of context. Damn all this speculation-Al cant possibly be wanting to let go of a 1st year rookie HC- can he? What in the world is that man thinking? I hope this rumor is put to rest soon. I cant take much more of this.

raiders are embarassing..why would u want to buy any gear or go to their games? al cant rebuild like a normal gm

Agreed!!! I hope Coach Lane Kiffin is given enought time to right the Raiders, bring in his own Coaches and Players starting this off season.

If Kiffin wants to screw The Raiders and Al Davis over by jumping at the first opportunity to have more power, that tells me that was his intention all along.

He knew the power structure of the organization from day one. He says that before he took the job he spoke to his dad, Pete Carroll, and others whose names escape me,

and they all explained to him the situation and all encouraged him to take the job. Shame on him if it was his intention from the start to merely

use Al Davis to get his name out there and jump ship the first chance he got.

So true and the unfortunate thing is I can see that happening here, i sure don't want that to be the case tho, but we've seen everything else happen with this organization why the hell not, I hope this is all just bs

i woudl ahve done the same thing. Face it, being the head coach of the Raiders is not a good job at all. That is why Al hired Art Shell who haden't coached in years, no one else wanted the job. Art wasn't even being considered as an offensive line coach for other NFL teams, so Al decides to make him the head coach, doesn't make much sense. Kiffin was smart by trying to use the Raiders as a stepping stone. I believe future Raider coaches will follow Kiffin's plan of using the Raiders as a stepping stone.

You would have done the same thing? That says alot about your character.

If this is the case that means he told Al Davis that he believed he could, and was committed to this franchise and turning this thing around,

and Al gave him the opportunity to just that. When in actuality, he had no such intention and was only using him, and us, to get his

name out there in order to get a better job ASAP. He lied and betrayed trust, if this turns out to be the case.
