Cat Fight Coming For Panthers Receivers?

Pat Yasinskas of the Charlotte Observer writes that there was a tense moment on Wednesday between Panthers receiver Steve Smith and rookie wideout Dwayne Jarrett.

Reporters were talking to Jarrett in the locker room about frustrations regarding his limited playing time in his first NFL season. Smith said to him, "Instead of talking to the media, why don’t you go watch some film?"

Jarrett smiled, but kept talking.

Then Smith, in a "very strong tone," said, "Seriously."

But Jarrett kept on talking.

For the rookie's sake, we hope he keeps his distance from Smith when he gets to the film room. Because it was five years ago that Smith sucker punched a teammate while they were watching film.

I live here in Charlotte and I'm so happy to be a long time Raiders Fan...God bless true fans!

The Panthers are HORRIBLE. I get stuck watching them and they have nothing going for them with Jake gone. Smith is a great athlete and player. Carr is scared back there, the crowd cheers SO loud when Matt comes in to QB, there is no running game, and the defense plays with no heart.

Funny enough, the local media really didnt say anything about this story. Why? No one here cares....

Sadly, he has been the best part of their season. The players were happy to see him play, sad when he went down, then happy when carr went down so moore would play
