Why not get Chad Johnson?

We have too few precious draft picks to surrender for any player (five right now). We really have nothing to offer and I don't think we can surrender a draft choice (at least not in 2008). If the Bengals are interested in Fabian Washington and a 2009 pick (3rd rounder) then I would listen.

I like Chad... but not for us. We are trying to change the culture and Chad has a me first approach to the game.

I think this may end up being something we can pursue this off-season.

Al likes to gamble, the difference is this guy is young and is a team player. He's emotional and off the field a nuisance but damn on the field this guy gives 110%.

We have trade bait with Cincy, they need D we have F Washington, T Sands, hell even M Huff for bait. They need a backup RB to R Johnson, we have 4 on our roster. I’m sure we can work something out with a combination of players and/or low draft picks to get it done. I think with the problems CJ is having with Cincy, his value for them is no more than a mid - low 15-32 1st round draft pick. With our unneeded players especially F Washington (they are desperate for a CB, he’s great #2 guy and he’s expendable, I just think Rout is better in M2M and will eventually be a great CB) and Lamont Jordan (if Bush works out then this guy is getting cut but he still has some value or Id even consider sending Rhodes their way as well.

anyway...I did hear that Larry Fitzgerald wants out of AZ. now that would be a little more up our alley....and I agree with trading the pick for someone big. WE NEED alot of help, and our drafting is not cutting it!
