For better or worse, Jordan cannot afford to be injured. He sits, and with Rhodes coming in, Fargas playing well, and Bush on the horizon, he would, despite his terrific efforts thus far, be forgotten or lost in the shuffle. This is a "what have you done for me today" league.

I say rest him for 2 weeks. We need to let him PT the **** out of his back with good electro stim therapy, deep tissue message, chiropractic care and lots of drugs. He will be ready to go during the S.D. game but should only be used if Rhodes and Fargas can't get it done. If they have trouble moving the rock, then bring in LJ with fairly fresh legs and punish the defense. Get well LJ!! GO RAIDERS!!

Wow to back after so soon. I know the players get top medical attention and good drugs but that is some serious pain to deal with. I can sympathise with LJ because I have had a bulging disc and it aint no fun and man just sitting can be really painful. If that is his injury and he plays against SD, my hat is off to him but I hope he doesn't rush himself back because I would rather lose him for 1 game than poetentially multiple games. I know he doesnt want to get lost in the shuffle but I don't think that will happen.

I have a bulging disk, too. Flares up from time to time. What gives me the most relief is cortisone shots in the spine, along with pain killers. Lasts a couple of months and feel like a million dollars.
