patriots should be banned from the nfl for a good year. i know it will never happen but wishful thinking./ either that or lowing their salary cap down 10 million so they have to rid themselves of some players.......... something that will take away all those big games won in the past such as vs us in 2001, vs the eagles in the superbowl, the win against the jets two weeks ago, etc........... i could go on and on.

I think that the only thing they can do is take draft picks. I do wish the NFL would impose huge fines, which would then be counted against the salary cap. I mean come on, they have been cheating for years and all the teams know it. Do something about it. They took away a pick, they already have another 1st round anyway!!

It's really sad. Fines arent going to hurt the Pats, there's plenty of money to be thrown around. As far as the draft picks I dont see it being that big of deal either.....lots of teams build through FA instead of the draft, they will be able to manage for a year or two.

I wish there was another way to penalize them. They deserve much worse!!! Blatant cheating like that doesnt sit well with me. It takes the fun out of the game. I would be embarassed to be a part of that........have a little pride as an organization and compete fairly.

I agree but the Pats are the darlings of the NFL a team they so desperately want to see succeed kind of like the Cowboys of the 90's. I think the best thing would be for all their alleged cheeting to be exposed by a reputable ex player or coach tarnishing their teams successes this decade. This probably isnt likely considering such a confession would likely implicate the accuser himself.

If there's more found, they should be banned from the playoffs 1 year for each additional incident. They should also lose picks for each incident. Lastly, any player a part of the team in those years, cannot be traded, i.e. make them suffer (see Tom Brady)...
