Falcons may want McCown/Walter
I don't see any reason that we should carry culpepper, mccown and walter. Personally from what i've seen in the preseason it looks like AW might be the man to run the team this coming year with culpepper backing him up. we may be able to get a 3rd or 4th rounder for mccown

Walter will haunt us if we let him go now. He has a cannon, and is young and teachable. You can't judge that guy on last year. Last year was a joke that kept getting worse and worse, and he towed the company line! Character matters.

I to believe if anyone needs to go its Josh. Walter looks good with a little protection, but Culpepper definetly looks the best out of all 3. They all had a chance to play with the 1st,2nd,&3rd team and Culpepper did well with all 3 teams. I think Culpepper will have a real good year. The guy has a chip on his shoulder and Miami is going to realize they should have kept him!!!

Agree, I would hait to see Walter go at this point. He's young, cheap, and could become a valuable back-up for us. If not we could at least build his value and possibly someone out there might be willing to part with a decent draft choice if they're in a pinch. But I say hang on to him.

thats what we traded to get him in the first place and ATL is desperate for a backup to harrington, someone who may even challenge for the starters job if things get really bad, we're in a position of leverage

dude are you watching the same preseason games i have been. walter hasn't look bad but culpepper looked great and is obviously catching on to the system and mc clown is on the ball also. I absolutely love AW and am pissed that he will likely get released for several reasons. #1 he was a third round draft pick one of many that have either been busts or we have not showed enough patience with-he needs time. #2 In a year or two we won't have mc cown or culpepper on the roster and will need two backups and AW would fit nicely it's just a bitch that the timing of this whole this has worked the way it has-AW is the odd man out this year. #3 He showed guts last year and stood up to the beating and has shown some improvements this year-would like to see an extended look at him w/ the first team, problem is that at this moment in time both Culpepper and McCown are better. I'll miss you AW and wish you the best of luck, JUST STAY OUT OF THE AFC!
